COVID-19 SUPPORT

YES, WE’RE STILL OPEN FOR BUSINESS – SO FAR!!

Taking care of your mental and emotional wellbeing has never been as important as it is now. Many are feeling anxious, stressed and fearful because of the situation they are now finding themselves in. These stresses may impact your coping or communication skills or interpersonal relationships.

The counselling and psychological support that I could provide may help with addressing these challenges. Specifically, support may be aimed at assisting with anxiety or panic symptoms, managing relationship conflict that may be arising due to the prolonged confinement at home, or the exacerbation of pre-existing psychological mental and emotional health difficulties.

At Counselling Insights, I will be providing office-based, Skype, Zoom, or Facetime (Telehealth) consultations during the COVID-19 health crisis.

OFFICE-BASED SERVICES

During this health crisis, I will be adhering to strict guidelines that are aimed to protect everyone’s health and safety whilst at the same time providing support to my clients. Our clinic will be following the government’s advice regarding appropriate hygiene measures. These include:

Ensure that clients maintain appropriate social distancing measures

No shaking of hands

Room arrangement to ensure the appropriate distance between client and therapist

Cleaning rooms and all client contact surface areas

Hand washing between every appointment

TELEHEALTH COUNSELLING SERVICES

For those clients who are not able to come to the clinic or choose to use Telehealth, we offer the option of utilising Skype, Zoom or Facetime to have an alternative in-person counselling session.

I have used these services many times over the years with clients who do not live in Sydney or have been unable to have an in-person counselling session with great success.

My goal is to maintain the continuity in health care to support those in need during these difficult times.
